syllabus

Like a class curriculum, this syllabus provides a jumping-off point, a framework for deeper exploration. It includes media created during the surge of the Black Student Protest beginning in the Sixties and in the greater Civil Rights Movement, as well as works produced from then until now.

This concept is modeled on the Ferguson Syllabus and the Trump Syllabus 3.0, which are collections meant to guide and inform readers on the underpinnings of these issues. This syllabus is by no means a comprehensive list, but serves as a reference point for other exploration of the archive.
